I’ve done a couple of changes on the site. One of which are the small icons on every post, just above the start of each entry. It was getting boring just seeing text links on there.
I’ve also added a couple of plugins and hacks on my WP installation. I’ll list them below and try to give a short description.
First of all, I added this hack called Time of Day. This hack basically changes the time of your entry into something much fun to look at. So, instead of saying 8:50 am it’ll display “Early Morning”. I love it!
Then there’s Kitten’s Friendly Comments plugin that helps you moderate the comments posted on your site. If you have WP set to moderate comments posted, as I do, this plugin will check whether a certain comment was posted using an email address that has been previously approved and then automatically adds it on the site, otherwise, the comment will need the administrator’s approval. Nice no?
I also added the WP-Refer plugin that tracks referers and has the option to display them on individual entry posts.
The On This Day plugin displays a link to an entry on the same day in previous years. This will obviously be useful if you have a year or two of archives on your site. (I have almost 3 years of archive!) I had to do some minor hacking on the code as there was one tiny variable that was missing.
And last, there’s the VBulletin Style Page Nav hack which displays the number of pages available at the bottom of the page (or wherever you want it to appear).
If you run a WP blog, you might want to look into those hacks and plugins.

nice icons! i love them! it’s a lot interesting nga if there are small icons. :) astig din mga hacks mo! aliw sobra!
